Upper Rhine Interreg zoning for the 2021-2027 programming period

La région du Rhin supérieur s’étend sur 350 kilomètres le long du Rhin, à cheval entre France, Allemagne et Suisse. Il est constitué de quatre territoires : l’Alsace, le Sud et Sud Ouest du Palatinat, une partie du Pays de Bade et les cinq cantons de Suisse du Nord-Ouest. Pour la période 2021-2027, la zone de programmation Interreg Rhin Supérieur évolue par rapport à 2014-2020. En effet, la circonscription de Pirmasens au Nord-Ouest complète désormais le Sud-Palatinat du côté allemand.



Un projet est éligible s’il implique au moins deux partenaires de part et d’autre de la frontière, dans deux des trois pays composant le territoire. Le siège de l’organisation qui porte le projet doit se situer dans cette zone de programmation.

Die Oberrheinregion erstreckt sich an der Grenze zwischen Frankreich, Deutschland und der Schweiz auf 350 Kilometern entlang des Rheins. Der gesamte Raum umfasst vier Teilgebiete: das Elsass, die Süd- und Südwestpfalz, einen Teil Badens und die Nordwestschweiz mit ihren fünf Kantonen. In der Förderperiode 2021-2027 unterscheidet sich das Programmgebiet von Interreg Oberrhein von dem in der Periode 2014-2020. Im Nordwesten kommt auf deutscher Seite im Gebiet der Südpfalz nun die kreisfreie Stadt Pirmasens hinzu.



Ein Projekt ist förderfähig, wenn an ihm mindestens zwei Partner beteiligt sind, die aus zwei der drei Länder kommen müssen, die das Programmgebiet umfasst. Der Sitz der Einrichtung, die als Projektträger fungiert, muss sich in diesem Programmgebiet befinden.

The Upper Rhine region stretches for 350 kilometres along the Rhine, straddling France, Germany and Switzerland. It is made up of four territories: Alsace, the south and south-west of the Palatinate, part of the Land of Baden and the five cantons of north-western Switzerland. For the period 2021-2027, the Interreg Upper Rhine programming area has changed compared to 2014-2020. The Pirmasens district in the north-west now complements the South Palatinate on the German side.



A project is eligible if it involves at least two partners on either side of the border, in two of the three countries making up the area. The head office of the organisation carrying out the project must be located in this programming area.
